Laser guided vehicle
Today, in-site production logistics represent a considerable challenge for the manufacturing industry the world over. Over the last decades, the transition to automated, operator-free systems has seen the large majority of manufacturing plants equip their processing and packaging with automated systems in which human participation is limited to mere system supervision and control. And now, thanks to OCME this trend is also spreading to internal logistics, as testifed to by a number of companies where logistics automation has already been implemented.
- OCME Auriga: Auriga is the line of laser guided vehicles (LGV) dedicated to internal plant logistics. These vehicles are generally used at end of line to handle emplty and full pallets, but may also be used to feed processing materials into the packaging lines, for warehouse storage operations, etc.
The models in the Auriga line may be fitted with forks, on-board conveyors (roller or chain) and with special gripping devices to handle specific types of products. The vehicles are subdivided into 3 standard models (15, 30, 45), based on the loading capacity (expressed in quintals).
- OCME Auriga Jumbo System: implementation for the LGV with special forks to handle and store tissue reels.
